Not only do I guide students in all aspects of the college selection and application process, we also look at factors they may want to take into consideration as Jewish students when deciding which school to attend.
Working as a College Guidance Counselor in Jewish day schools for the past seven years has given me tremendous insight into the world of life on college campuses for Jewish students. There are incredible resources and opportunities for these young people to explore their identity while they mature and discover more about themselves. These experiences are valuable and instrumental in their growth.
It is my goal to help students embark on their college journey with confidence.
I received an undergraduate degree in International Relations and History at Elon University, where I co-founded their campus Hillel, and took advantage of three study abroad programs and one internship opportunity. I received a Master’s Degree from Tel Aviv University and was part of the inaugural team that started Hillel at the University of California, San Diego. Over the years, I have been involved with teens as a mentor, guiding them to make choices that would propel them to succeed in environments that meet their individual needs and interests.
Having visited over 30 colleges and universities in the United States and Israel, I am very excited to share my knowledge and work with Jewish students that make up a unique and dynamic college bound niche.
